Becky has become an integral part of the Frontier Steelhead Experience and brings to the kitchen more than 10 years of culinary expertise. She is passionate about food and the guest experience. Inspired by all things West Coast, Becky’s dishes combine local and fresh contemporary flavor to honor regional finds. She recently began spending time on Haida Gwaii, exploring new flavors and inspirations from the magical islands. She is head chef at Copper Bay Lodge in the winter and Sandspit Adventures in the summer, both located on Haida Gwaii. Becky is especially skilled at developing menus and preparing culinary dishes that excite and satisfy. She is committed to leaving patrons with a memorable dining experience. Becky is the head chef at Morice River Lodge and ensures all guest trips run as smoothly as possible. This camp has a rustic element and lies in a jet-boat-access-only wilderness setting. This means Becky can be seen working on the generator, unfreezing pipes, and responding quickly to every crisis—but this never stops her from putting on a special riverside dinner for our guests. Watch out for late-night games of cribbage, as Becky has been known to humble the best.
