Richard Pow

Many things have changed over the past 15 years in the Bulkley Valley. One thing that has remained consistent is seeing Richard Powe putting guests on steelhead in the Skeena watershed. Very few steelhead guides have had the opportunity to learn as much about Skeena Tribs as Richy.  A local of Smithers, Richard has been an exceptional addition to the Frontier Farwest team.  With more tricks than David Copperfield hidden in what he calls his "tickle trunk" (a large boat box) there is no situation that Richard is not prepared for.  You will quickly realize this when everyone on the river is getting skunked while Richards guests are teaming with action.  Richard has an understanding of steelhead water that few people will ever realize, and because of this there are only a couple fisherman who have ever tailed as many steelhead as this veteran guide. Richard is an exceptional, skilled guide that is second to none in the industry.
